GENEGUT research was presented at the Controlled Release Society (CRS) Annual Meeting 2026, held in Lisbon, Portugal, through a poster presentation by Elisa Millet, Junior Scientist at Lonza.
The poster, “Comparison of standard media vs biorelevant media for the evaluation of capsule performance” (Poster #803), explored how different dissolution media influence capsule release and highlighted the importance of using biorelevant conditions to better reflect in vivo performance during capsule evaluation.
The work contributes to the optimisation of oral drug delivery systems and supports the development of more predictive testing methods for pharmaceutical formulations. These activities align with GENEGUT’s objective of advancing innovative oral RNA-based therapeutic approaches for ileal Crohn’s disease.
The research has also been published in the European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and is available online:

GENEGUT congratulates Elisa Millet on presenting this work at one of the leading international conferences in drug delivery and pharmaceutical sciences and thanks her for contributing to the project’s scientific dissemination.
